Live fire training exercises are vital to fire department training. It allows the fireman the opportunity to experience a real-life scenario. These pictures show a house CAAN Homes donated. Firefighters were able to work as a team in conditions which cannot be simulated. This training might mean the next fire they respond to is put out a little faster. Or even better a family member rescued a little sooner.

A structural fire can have many hidden sources of heat and danger. Having the opportunity to practice on a building, is invaluable to both rookie and veteran personal.
